Sweeties is one of my favourite artworks. The colours and shapes really speak to me and the black lines just bring this piece to life.
On a recent trip to Australia, I was inspired by Aboriginal paintings where colour and pattern are centre stage. I am amazed by the beauty that bold colours can bring and can really make an impact on me and my own practice.
Taken from original paper and pen collages and translated onto canvas .
