My workshops are designed to get you to enjoy the process of creating through play. We play with different materials, exercises and themes. They are all aimed at getting you to enjoy the process of making rather than wanting to reach perfection.
Getting Rid of Perfectionism
Even though I went to art school and have a degree in making art, I never found exactly what made me tick. I hated drawing “things” or making things look realistic, it stressed me out that it wasn’t perfect enough. In the end it stopped me being creative and made me lose the joy.
When on holiday in Australia, I found paint colour swatches in the hardware store and started cutting them up and playing with shape and colour and it blew my mind. I’d discovered collage. This is what I’d been waiting for. This is what I was meant to do.
So now it’s my duty to show others how to enjoy making art and enjoy the process of creating. By using fun and play, we can banish those ideas of perfectionism.
It makes us more likely to create and puts less pressure on creating perfect art. If we look forward to experimentation and have the right tools to help us discover what we love, we can start our creative journey.

The most popular workshop is pot painting, as I have developed a fool proof way to design and paint a unique pot using tapes and paints.

I've been in the mural business for over 4 years now and have developed my own style through playing with collage.
In this workshop you'll be taken through the various stages of designing a workshop and how you can use your own ideas to design your own.
